Fran Cleary’s Second Chance at Love (working title)

Fran: Taking my son to the best ophthalmologist in the Metro area when he’s hit in the eye with a softball should be a no brainer. However, not only is Dr. Leo “McHottie” Macotti one of my clients, he makes my palms sweat and has me giggling like a schoolgirl at his corny jokes. What do I do when he asks me out? I say yes, of course. Which could possibly get me fired.

Leo: My practice takes up a lot of my time, leaving very little for a social life. Which is fine by me. Thanks to my ex-wife, the word “relationship” leaves a bad taste in my mouth. So why did I ask Fran Cleary out? Is it because she has great legs, incredible eyes and laughs at my goofy jokes? All the above. And them some.

It Happened One Weekend

The best laid plans…

Jessie: My Valentine’s Day plans include of weekend of pampering to soften the blow of yet another failed relationship. It definitely doesn’t include driving through a snowstorm, getting run off the road, or being rescued by a knight in a shiny Mustang and his three young nephews. Being stuck in their family’s cabin until the snow plows can dig us out shouldn’t be problem. But when said accountant is tall, blond and handsome, and hiding a sixpack under his expensive silk shirts, my resolve to take a break from men is tested to the limits. That would be jumping from the frying pan into the fire, right? Thankfully his nephews are there to keep me on the straight and narrow. Until they start acting like matchmakers.

Wes: The last thing I needed during tax season was to chauffer my three nephews to the family cabin on Valentine’s Day weekend. But as my sister so sweetly pointed out, I was once again single. So here I am was battling a snowstorm and wrangling the Three Stooges. Things take a one eighty when the boys and I rescue woman stuck in a ditch. With road conditions getting worse by the minute, I have no choice but to take her to the cottage with us. The boys take to Jessie right away. And despite my best efforts to fight it, so do I.
